The most expensive directory

Here is a bit of a gem I found a thread about over at DP.

This guy expects $400 for a listing in his directory. I think it must be some kind of joke.

Hi there,

Directories like that never really get a lot of customers because the majority of their visitors are probably from little publicity about how expensive it is, you understand what I mean? Because all someone else would have to do is make one which is $450 and then that would be the most expensive, taking the little publicity that it has.

Plus it doesn't look well designed and trustworthy to me, it looks too plain and simple.

Yeah, I agree about the design. And who in their right mind would pay any more than a buck(I wouldn't even give a dime) for a listing in a PR(0) webpage? "most expensive directory", as a keypharase, may or may not get searched, but if it does, it would probably be for entertainment purposes.

I'm surpised the categories are not even SEO'd. Also, No PageRank? What has happend there?
