delicious link ring

I had an idea on how to improve del.icio.us tags. We could form a del.icio.us link ring, in which I would add your site to my tag list, and you add mine to yours. We get enough people with enough sites, this could be beneficial for everyone involved. What do you all think?

Edit: If anyone else has any other link building ideas, please say so here.

Are you saying to add these sites onto our own websites? What if they are not relevant to what the site offers?

If you are a member of del.icio.us then you bookmark pages through them, and other people can view your links. I would bookmark your site, and you would bookmark mine in return. Kind of like a link exchange, only the links would be hosted on del.icio.us.

That could possibly work, but in order to be shown on the main page it would take quite a few people to "tag" the link (around 50). Maybe it might work though, and if it does you might want to do it on digg.com also

How does digg work? I am not familiar with it's inner structure. I thought it was just an article site.

but I'm intrested to participate for the delicious project. But we have to define the right and common TAG we all will use.

BTW : I think this can work as I'm also a member of linkedIN (a professional social network) where I promote my website as my personal webpage. They provide you with a public "personal page" where you can add some info about yourself (whereunder the site you want to promote

). I now see a climbing number of visitors every day through that link.
