Hello atom. I find it interesting, because I've never thought about it as relaxing, but now that you mention it, the only time I'm not thinking about what I want to do on my website, is when I actually am doing something to improve my website. So in a way, I guess it is a bit relaxing.

First place is something to be achieved, not something that can happen overnight. I am on page 2 with some of my keyphrases, and it brings traffic, but page 1 in the market both of my websites has alot of competition, in the billions, so it'll take some time and lots of work. Also, I'm in the first position on several of my keyphrases in MSN, which is another thing you should consider, google isn't the only one. The most important thing you can do is try to optimize your site(s) by offering updated content and get your name out there as much as you can.

Ever do a Google search then go to yahoo or msn or aol and do the same search. Notice the results beyond the sponsored links are virtual the same? One would think that they are using a common data base "GOOGLE" to fill in their search results beyond their paid sponsers. Like the Pay Per Click scheams that then send their robot to use up your monthly allotment and run up your click fee but oddly there is no signifacant increase in the revenue stream of the site, becouse altough the log file and counters are filling up, there is really no one looking at the site. The only data that a site owner really wants is what are the page impressions and how much in sales this week. SO many myths So little time!
