Optimizing Flash websites

Aside from gathering amount of inbound links / Title / metas ... what else should I do to optimize flash sites?

Can search engine bots read flash at all?I am not very sure about that.
Well if they cant read flash then they wont list you either.

They are developing more and some can read flash but nothing as compared to HTML websites.

With flash sites just focus on the inbound links and anchor text of those links.

I'm not a fan of flash sites at all - they take to long to load from around these parts

But, I would otherwise wish you luck with optimizing it. I have seen a few flash sites, but they also had a lot of HTML articles to boost rankings.

Google can read flash..

since 2004 (i think), SEs are capable of reading flash.

One thing though is do not create the Web site as a single page with a giant Flash movie, it's better to split the site into several pages, it will help your seo efforts.

the usual optimization methods work well for flash sites too. Optimize each movie and page with appropriate titles and content. And when in doubt it's better to also have an alternative for your flash site and/or have minimal flash use.

i personally don't like whole flash sites since they load too long and there is only one entry point for the site.

Just have 2 verisons , FLASH and HTML. Most flash sites do this.
