I was just wondering if anyone knew when google was going to update the page ranks next?

I’ve seen a few blogs that say it happens at the end of each month, some people say it can take between 3 and 6 months. There seems to be a varied opinion on this, and I have no idea

I created my web site about a month ago, have had a robot.txt file implace, got many link backs, optimised it, got a google site map in place. Yet im sitting on a page rank of zero and a predicted page rank of 5.

When do you think this is going to change, any opinions on this?

Some say at the beginning to the middle of October. It just happended around July 13th, and they typically happen about once every 3 months. Sometimes it is longer though, so noone really knows.

I think you should contiue adding link and content to your site, the next time updates happens, you will hear it in the forum.

Yea, fully agreed with this. Why wait? Just keep on building links and put in great contents. When updates comes, then things should be alright by then .

Google updates are erratic this days, the last updates was still fluctuating for weeks after the updates, like previous posters said, just focuse on building links.

Its expected for mid January - updates are usually every 3ish months. GBPR has already started to change and move over the past few days. I personally wouldn't take too much notice on PR prediction tools - as the name states, it is only a prediction. As for actual PR (which we can't actually see) this changes on a daily basis - it is only every 3ish months that we get to see the visual PR in the forum of the google bar!

as long as there are visitors coming in to your site, why worry for the PR update? if you are recieving traffic from search engine using your keyword, then again why worry, PR is just an add-on

People can be rather PR orientated though... especially those looking to invest a monthly fee to have a link displayed on a site or something similar. PR is a very powerful rating method thats why theres is always so much discussion about how to get a good GBPR etc.
