Default Selling newly built community?

Hi,

I am asking you webmasters, why would a webmaster just build up a site to sell it? Isn't that a waste of your valuable time? I know that it would be a waste of mine

Unless you have a brilliant idea, I think it would be a waste of time also...It seems like I never see communities sell for how much work was actually put into them...although, potential success is often an important factor...and sometimes this is big enough to outweigh the time spent

I think that getting a forum up to a standard that you can offer advertising (for a nice little price) is better than selling it. Because after a while you will earn more than anybody would buy it for

People pay good money for developed websites. I am a web developer and sites will sell based off of revenue. Develop, market, earn revenue, then sell. You will make well over $1000.
