 |  Backlink checker When I do some testing on 'backlink checker' I notice they many of the so called back links are not links but web pages where the webpage is talked about. There is no clickable link as such. My question is are these really backlinks? And if not why does the backlink checker show them?

| Re: Backlink checker It’s probably because some of the links may not have been available, for instance a forum where you posted a hundred links may have been temp. down, so the backlink checker wouldn’t be able to see these links at the time in question. (hence the non-stable appearance) My personal opinion, don’t put all your eggs into one basket, try to get as many links as you can, from as many different sites as you can.
