 |  So how do you get MSN to come visit So how do you get MSN to come visit and troll through your site. Present visit rate from MSN bot is about five pages a day  and it picks some random page that is of little help.By contrast after a lot of short visits Google now take 3000+ pages a day.

| Re: So how do you get MSN to come visit Theres no way of making any bot visit more, But theere are things you can do to encourage them. Have an internal linking structures that makes it easy for them to find all of your pages and work on getting backlinks from other sites.

    | Re: So how do you get MSN to come visit First off you should implement mod_rewrite into your forum. That would make them view the whole site. Second, you should create a Robots.txt. Bot can view the whole site, and certainly the pages I'm referring to so not sure what difference that will make but I will see if I can find out some more. There is already a robots.txt which I understand will allow any bot to look at anything. Quote:

| Re: So how do you get MSN to come visit More Internal links, less outbound links and more Inbound links! Don’t bother with things like resubmitting, its a waste of time. The spiders just crawl, if you have plenty of incoming links they will crawl more often There is nothing on your site that makes it spider un-friendly, just remember MSN will never crawl as much as Google, Google has the highest crawling rate at the moment, so don’t worry about it.

| Re: So how do you get MSN to come visit I Have a robot txt file and i also have a sitemap php on my site and Msn bot search it everyday, sometime more. So maybe consider adding a php sitemap. |

Can you elaborate more on inbound and outbound and internal links? Currently I have RSS feeds from other sites on my pages, is this incoming links? How does this help crawlers from coming to my sites? because of keywords on these RSS lines/paragraphs? Wouldn't having these links drive the viewers away rather than get them to stay and browse.
