![]() | OK, I launched my site in late March, early April and got a PR 3 right away, no complaints on my part. My question is I have not recieved any PR on my internal pages. I have thgis problem on a few of my sites. Now, I do not believe PR is the end all and I think it has only a small bearing on SERP's, but I just want the recgonition. Any ideas on what the problem could be or should I not care over all?

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | try to define your keyword using on those domains, and also make a lot of content, news, articles, press releases to other sites, linking to other sites as much as possible (Do this by requesting a link exchange even if it's not a directory) and develop a high layer of information for your viewers. PR is just a number, though some like to believe it's a source, *shrugs* it's what you want to call it, but advertising your site is all that matters, and as long as you have visitors, say 300 by the 30 minutes to an hour, then you're fine, just make your site noticeable. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I wouldn't care over all. Providing the main domain name has PageRank, the PageRank should evenly spread out with your internal pages on the next update. I had a similar problem on one of my websites and the PageRank eventually spreaded throughout the pages.

![]() | Wow, Thanks Jumpen I appreciate your kind words. If you have any suggestions then please let me know, I know it is not the place, this thread I mean, but I am always open to new ideas! I am also trying to figure out H tags, any suggestions on where I can find out how to do them right? Oh, and Kenni any idea of when the next update is going to happen? Some of my other sites have increased in PR, but not all of them, so I am thinking it is happening, but slowly.....I am new to the web and have been only doing this for a few months so bear with me...

![]() ![]() | H tage are important, So reading up on them would be advised. But as a genearl idea <h1> tag should contain your main topic of the page, And the higher the H number goes the less important that phrase is. So lets say you have a page offeing tips on selecting a host you page should look something like this Code:
Search engines pay a lot of attention to the <h1> tags because it tellls them what the entire page is about, and they pay attention to the other H tags because it tells them what specifics you discuss on that page. For maximum effect you shouldn't have more than one <h1> tag on a page.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Metatags belong in the head of an html document, and heading tags belong in the body, so you want to use your <h> tags within the body of your page. If you have a heading, like "Big Bobs Blowouts", you could do it like this.... <h1>Big Bobs Blowouts</h1> and that would format and output the text within the tags. |
