Default PR question

The PR of my site root is 3.Root redirects to forum directory which has PR 0.
If I move my forums to root, will it help to get more listings in Google search ?

Wow, that almost looks like an asvab question

If you set your forum up as root, your forum will be PR 3, however, you will experience some changes from the search engines on indexing, which will go lower so that your forum will be shown as that root site.

You may also experience PR change, (I doubt it) but when you do change to your root folder, you need to make sure you have everything situated so it doesn't affect your PR, such as meta tags, (first thing you should make sure you have) and also your content is clear and open, this way when you get re-indexed for the SE's - search engines, you will be noticed by not only your keywords from your meta tags, but from the major keywords on your forum, such as People, News, Entertainment, Ads, Listings, Google, etc etc, these type of major keywords should be visible if not then re-arrange where they can be, (that was just an example).

Hope this helps.

Haha, Optik's right- it does sound like a test question

I wouldn't worry about moving your entire forum just to boost PR a little bit: let Google have a little time to figure it out: and it'll get a pagerank.

Also, welcome to iWEBTOOL ^_^
