Thumbs down Web Hosting Buzz = Thumbs Down

www.webhostingbuzz.com

I used thtem for about a year, but then I had them cancel my hosting account.

I was still getting their service announcements/bulletins via email. I asked them to unsubscribe me and they didn't respond. I asked again and they said OKAY, but they never did....

So then I got billed for another year's worth of hosting on the credit card - yipes! $134.71 on the credit card .... I became upset and demanded a refund and unsubscription from their email.

I got the refund, thankfully.

But I still get their email bulletins. -_-

Don't use them. They were okay in the beginning when they first started out, but now... ugh...

Did you enter your cancellation request within a sufficient time frame to stop it going through? I am doubting you did (full details are in our terms and conditions), as very rarely does an order get renewed if it is cancelled within sufficient time. We still gave you your refund however.

And when you signed up to our service status announcements, full details were sent on how to unsubscribe. Those still apply. You can unsubscribe at http://www.whbstatus.com

Wow, I am actually glad to see a WHB representative here Wonderful ^_^

I did enter the request in sufficient time, I got an email back confirming the account was deleted, yet... I lost the email, actually It was a long time ago.

I'm glad I got the refund, yes, thanks for that. Yet, if I was given a refund, why do I still get email bulletins?

Why are those seperate from the hosting account? Why would I need email bulletins if I don't have an account there anymore?

I just wonder why it can't all be one thing: why do I need to cancel 3 things when I ordered just 1? Poorly done IMO.

Hi,

The hosting cancellation process is very simple. You have to submit a ticket to cancel the service before it is billed because all the accounts are billed automatically. We cannot know if you are hosted with us or not. One has to actaully inform us to cancel the hosting account. If you submit the request in time, you will never be billed. Having said that I see your ticket under our system and I have asked the billing manager to take care of it shortly for you.

Sorry for any inconvenience. We are not that bad if the procedures are followed.

Surely his cancelation was in good time as he got an e-mail saying it was cancelled, so why was he wrongfully billed again for a second time and still recieving newsletters .

Kieran Taylor.

Yeah, by the way you already have an account... I already canceled - like TWO YEARS AGO. And got no notice about being billed again...

I heard there a quite bad host. Looking over the packages i think there jerks! There showing bandwith a year intead of monthly.

From what i can see i think this is just another cPanel host that are overselling space.

I hate to say this but compared to my buget host they suck. My host gives me 'Downtime Compensation' They recently went down and I got a a refund for that month. No cupon rubbish, I got real money.

Do you know the server spaces for Buzz?
