Can Blogs Be A Profitable Online marketing Solution?

Efficacy of using blogs as online marketing for my site is brewing some confusions in my mind. Since, blog is a cheaper avenue of Internet marketing and also is potent to push my site to high rankings at organic SERP, but the time consuming factor of this marketing tool is dampening my enthusiasm of using it. Yes, this web blog is now the latest trend on the web thanks to sizable contributions made by celebs. However, as per my understanding blogs are mainly beneficial for service providers than sites selling products. However, I have a real estate based website that sells properties. I have incorporated my site with blogs on tips, advice, suggestions related to buying properties, minimizing costs, mortgage and loan related topics. What do you think? I need your opinion on efficacy on these blogs to built up my site's popularity?

If your blog posts give good top quality advice that is useful to people then of course they will improve your sites popularity !

Blogs can from a useful part of an internet marketing strategy. The blog not only has to be relevant to your main site but something people will want to read, usually with good advice.

Blogs ca most definitly be a profitable online marketing solution, and I myself have used them a lot of times before, but I recently stopped once I had estableishd sites.

Blogs can be a good way to make money online, but I prefer a static website

Blogs are very helpful in a sense that it will boost traffic for your site....

Blogs are cheap and good for online marketing. You have to add interesting topics in your blog to get more popular. The interest of the visitors will increase traffic, popularity and income.

Blogs are just another type of website. Although a lot of people feel they help you get in touch with your readers which is true I see them as an easy way to generate SEO/backlinks. Most blogging platforms are already fairly SE friendly so it makes for an easy and quick way to make a site. As far as a solution, I see them only as a piece of the puzzle.
