Red face Why GOOGLE has decreased a Page Rank?
Hi,
I have been observing since last 6 months that after every updates of Google PageRank, the PR of sites are keep decreasing.

Most of the high traffic websites have lost their pagerank to minimum.

If you see here: this website - www.bigtv.co.in - thats not even launched, just 1 page with 1 graphic - no inter links, no outer links, not even popular and still got a Google PR3. Can you believe it?

What has been a calculation or a logic behind it???? (Google's partiality)?

Google.Com - PR10 - on which basis?

Now lets compare 3 sites:
Google.com - PR10
Bigtv.co.in - PR3
futurebazaar.com - PR4

Compare them - Big Bazaar online venture (futurebazaar.com) is having PR4 even it is an old website, lots of links, lots of visitors visit daily and perfectly designed too. How come a single page website bigtv.co.in has a PR3 and a very popular website futurebazaar.com is just a PR4???

Whats going on?

I never heard of the last two sites. That tells why they are not high PR.

Those last 2 are the top indian websites. If you wanna compare all 3 then you can consider google.co.in (PR8), how???

Does it only mean, if you heard a name and know it well and thus it gets a high PR??? Thats it? Thats all what it needs? NO WAY!

Then whats a reason why bigtv.co.in gets a PR3!! 1 page website gets a PR3????

Well, Google is complicated, and if they made everything simple, we would know exactly how to get a good PR for our sites...

One thing I could tell you futurebazaar.com would rank well soon. That site seem to be optimized well.
Not sure if Google use any weight for geographic location for page ranks.

It won't get good PR because

1. it's homepage has too many links
2. links are not SEO friendly ( check ebay for reference )

I think updation is main thing in all behind. If you home page contain some or more seo friendly links to your inner pages (Interlinking) and your inner pages are updating regular then it seems to important and worthy site and you will get good PR soon.

I think same cases are with google and yahoo and some high PR sites.
