Obtaining links?

Well, Ive been having trouble obtaining back links.. I guess this question might be asked a lot.. I used the search button can't find anything on it.. I was wondering whats the best way to obtain one way links? I hate linking to other people if its not needed.. I want links coming to me.. Any suggestions??

As first step you may want to use the free webdirectories in order to start your popularity increasing. Otherwise usually the unique outstanding content is the key to make webmasters link to your site without any other without compensation.

Ask yourself, why should I link to this site? More often it is due to some useful content of interest to the linking site, have you got some useful content? Other reasons to link may be through membership of common associations, useful facilities. The key however is content.
