I think if you are SEO PR is also a must because you are a useless if don't got any,.... but try focus more specially with your SERP.

What I think that PR is good to see, it shows the page strength but that is not everything.

If a website is properly and timely cached by Google and ranking well in search engine result pages then traffic on website will definitely increase.

Always try to improve inlinks for the site either one way link or exchange link with relevant websites.

The main purpose of making website is visited by people and use its services.

Google count lots of things for allocating PR like inbound & outbound links, content of the page & quality of backlinks. etc.

I don't agree that PR is important to rank high in SERPs

PR is a gimmick and for entertainment purposes. A reason for you to doenload Google toolbar. That's all.

I make lots of money and my sites rank high with little or no PR

but I find PR is nothing,or Google made mistake?
I find a domain created at April 8th, and only with 3 backlinks(not quality links.) is PR5..

PR is just math. Its the likelyhood of someone being on your site rather than all the other sites on the net at any given time based on linking structure. Mathematical networks are fun! The delete your site and give up part doesn't even make sense, how is starting a brand new site going to make you more likely to be in the SERPS. You can always improve an existing site!
