Default Can you use a script for iWebtool

Hello all,

I'm wondering if it is possible to automate the speed test by use of a script. That way, I'll have the opportunity to measure our website over a longer period of time at regular intervals without having to supervise the project.
If the answer is yes, next question: has anybody already written such a script and is willing to share?

Regards,

Richard

Are you talking about something like an API for scripts access?

Ummm I guess so.
Let me explain my train of thoughts. I want to automate the sequence:
- goto iWebtool website
- click CHECK button
- select, copy and paste the results into Excel spreadsheet
- repeat x number of times

So, I would need a program that performs these steps, right?

I soppose so. I can get the tool to export in EXCEL format installed for you. If you would like that, please let me know.

That would be great! Where would you install that, BTW? I sound a bit uncertain, because I'm familiar with scripting in Word and Excel (VBA), but not (yet) in other environments. It happens more and more that I find myself a veteran in some areas and a total beginner in others.
Such is life
