Default Progress bar in PHP

I am trying to add progress bar in php while I am uploading file. How can I add it? Should I use external component or it is possible in php?

Perhaps this sourceForge hosted project/class would help, http://sourceforge.net/projects/megaupload/

For gods sake man...

PHP is server sided programming. A server prepares a page and gives it to the user as a serialized page.

Scripts like Javascript make the page active. You would need to use some sort of ajax to communicate with PHP to give you a progress bar, and I have no clue how to do that. Why not just make a little "waiting" popup?
