Default Is it to soon to put adds on my forums?

I have been thinking about putting adds on my forums after some of the posts. I really don't have any members yet so do you guys think I should wait or does it matter?

Thanks for the advice

Nothing wrong with a few ads. Just dont add too many as it can be a put off for new members and visitors.
Keep the ads relavent to the theme of the forum.

First work on getting lots of traffic to your site and then put ads on site

I think that you should first get the traffic, build backlinks support and once you get enough hits, you can go for ads. You would get a reasonable amount from your ad space, only if you got some traffic there. It looks so unprofessional to have ads on forums with little or no posts.

It would be better if you already have a few traffic to start with for your site...

I dont think it matters, best thing to do, is set up so the ads only show to guests, that way you can tempt people into registering by saying, register and you wont see any ads on these forums !

Thats a good idea for starting out

I am not going to have a lot of adds. I want to get some of the ones that display in between some of the post on a forum.

The thing is I want to see how the adds work with my site before I get a lot of members so that I can make sure it blends in well with my styles. I don't have much experince coding anything so I'm like a turtle to fix things unless something that can be copy and pasts comes up then its all good ....well most of the time anyway sometimes that doesn't even go my way without a lot of study

I think you should increase members first in your forum. I think your 2 options will definitely attracts more users to join. If it is dofollow then good and also make the forum "Revenue Share Forum". If you want to display ads then no problem but only few ads.

You can start adding Google ads to your website the exact day you launch your website but you might not expect that much earnings from your ads, if your site still is not having great traffic.

If you're listed on Google and getting a reasonable amount of traffic, that's the best time to start placing ads

There's nothing wrong with putting ads.. Just try to lessen them to make your forum looks not distracting to your members as well as to your visitors...
