Need Answer on PHP Forum Question.

Hello, I started a PHP forum. I will be paying to remove the forced ads, but only once I can figure out how to encode it so I can ad a favicon, as well as otehr customer html incorporating advertising from my sponsors. Does anyone know I can ad html to my PHP forum? Thank you, any help is much appreciated.

Hi LemonTide, you may find a template or skin folder where the design file are store. Have a look at them and you will see that editing it / adding additional html code is quite easy, at least I hope it will be easy.

Well thank you much! I found where I can pick new skins & I updated it to the one I like, but Im not sure if I can edit it. Ill try getting the script & updating it in Dreamweaver if I can. Thanks a lot for pointing me in the right direction!

Dang it, it only lets me preview & install these new skins. I cannot get at them to edit.

if you have hosting of your own then download any forum script and install it. Free hosters will not allow you to remove their ads from the site.

There are some very powerful forums scripts available like SMF (simple machaines), phpbb etc.

I wish someone would help me get a nice forum design with my code for txt links incorporated. I would work it for the next 3 months, drive visitors, & update it. I would be glad to share the reward when it paid off.

Do you have the option to upload your own skin? if so download the skin edit it and then upload it to admin interface.

If you can get my html script running for link ads Ill share revenue. I wil have this site running good traffic soon. No doubt. First day & already have 4 members.
