First impression ... you have no color sense. Try to use calm color combination. Browse different websites and try to understand the color scheme they have used.

Second impression ... directory coding is kids standard. You are using url as anchor text. You are missing one of the basic SEO techniques.

Your pages need total makeover, better you buy a directory script and change the template.

I agree the color combination should be checked. Try and have a logo too and not the plain text. Alignment also needs to be checked.
