the colour combination looks good to me. However, I am starting to realize that blogs are really not that useful you know as a proper website would be. You cannot really control the design or layout or navigation. It is good for those, who do not want to spend money on a website and want a quick fix. One the other hand, forums provide more usability. Blogs are really a waste of time except for the fact that they get indexed quicker in search engines.
