Hi,

I hired a coder to design my blog, but I have not decide how my blog should look like.

It've been one month since I requested the bid on rentacoder, but I still can't make decision!

I want my blog theme can be read easily, and have more Web 2.0 function. I want to use my blog theme on my business blog, but also my casino blog.

I have see many good blogs, but I just can't imagine what my blog will look like.

Any suggestion?

Well, difficult to say - you first need to answer the question yourself - What do you want your blog to look like? Mine is businessadvicepro.com - not perfect but I like it. So just go to google and start surfing around random sites - if you see something you like - mission accomplished.

Listen to mediacurse and continue surfing, but take notes.

When you find some business blog designs you really like, make a list of the best ones and decide which format you want (WordPress, Blogger, TypePad, etc) and then tell the designer the format and show them color schemes of what you like.

If someone is coding templates from scratch they can probably customize your blog the way you want. As a web developer and graphics artist, my advice is always get your logo first. That's the foundation of your "image" so it's consistent everywhere, and then develop business cards, other printing, and finally your website or blog to match.

The domain was Created on: 08-Mar-08, so my guess it's the owner on a forum backlink promo tour trying to get a new website noticed.

I would suggest just doing a google search for business blogs and trying to take in what exactly makes a blog easily readable and easy to navigate. My recomendations are just to keep it simple, and not to over crowd your web page. Choose neutral colors that are easy on the eyes.

For anyone reading this thread the thing to consider in your layout might be your long term advertising goals. Right now I see lots of business/seo blogs with the 125X125 ad spots and I think thats the way to go if you are not using adsense to make all your money. People are starting to see 125X125 ads spots as good promotional positions. Also they are good for affiliate type ads.
