Greetings to all Iwebtool members.

My name is Brad Yeutter. I live in Lenexa Kansas. I am trying to get a website off of the ground selling all natural cleansers.

I have no formal html training or any other language used in web development. I joined this forum in the hopes that I can start to build some knowledge that will help me to create a rockin' web page.

Forgive me if some of my questions seem pedestrian. As I have said, I am here to learn from you guys.

My site is already live, though rather rudimentary. I used Microsoft frontpage 2000 to create it. I can see some limitations in that program already. I figure that is what I get for purchasing what I could afford (the software only cost me 10 bucks on e-bay!).

I also have other issues working against my site such as the fact that my supplier will not drop ship. They also tell me there is no way to integrate my shopping cart with theirs so I am currently directing visitors to thier site to process the orders.

HI byeutter,

It seems like you are looking for some shopping cart software to set up your site.

I use either zencart or oscommerce, just type them in google and do a bit of reading. You can edit these according to your needs in terms of layouts, colors, style etc etc.
I would say based on your knowledge you will need to have someone set this up for you.
When taking orders on a website you need a high level of security whether it be names and numbers of people or credit card details.
I don't think something you bought off ebay for $10 is going to cut it.

Html is only one of the many web languages.
A good place to learn some web languages including html as a good start is w3schools.
Bst thing to learn in todays web industry is css accompanied by xhtml.
