How long does it normally take to get into DMOZ?

No one knows for sure. They are not so good when it comes to support. If you are sure that you entered every information according to their tos, than just forget about it. I guess, you definately have more important things to deal with. DMOZ is just one directory, you can focus on other quality web directory which are already indexed in search engines.

I've been waiting about 6 months - I'm still not listed in DMOZ

Hello Logic here.
What I did do to get into DMOZ. I found that it took my site a weather site related to Palm Springs, California 6 months.

The location I submitted to was editied by an active member not a volunteer.

I think though that viunteers can get to your request within 4 months I have 6 sites for our company pending.
