Default An Apology!

Some of you may be aware that I owned and run a Hosting Company called Midland Internet.
This I sold to another member here (consc198)

It appears that since then the service has ben poor to say the least. In fact I found out a day or so ago that most accounts had been suspended.

Despite me sending this member PM's to sort out the situation I never receive a reply.

This is their other website.

I have also now found out the members email, so if any customer of Midland Internet wants it please send me a PM.

Midlandi
You can't blame yourself for stuff that happened after you
stepped out of the business ...
I am sure people understand ...

But from personal experience when web hosting business change hands
things go the worse way possible.

That's might be really painful to see how your own project is collapsing and seeing how your former clients get disappointed, but there's nothing to do, you are not any longer reponsible for that...

I know you will be feeling for your former clients, but you've no need to apologise for someone else's failure. It's just a shame a business like this treats people like they are doing just now.

Hey midlandi

People here know you as a honest person. No need to apologize, it is something out of your control!

Midi, it must be disheartening to see a business you built up fail, especially when it is so clearly identified with you. It is good of you to publish your clarification... no-one can blame you for what has happened after you sold in good faith.

But why do people buy well-established businesses and then let them go down the drain?

It's nice to see that you still worry about it even after it's out of your hands. I'd probably feel the same. But if you're doing what you can and you get no answers, move on... More ventures await.
