So im not sure what part of the forum to put this, however i thought this might be a good place.

So i recently put hi stats on the my work websites to track in real time page views and other things(im using hi stats), well we also have a non real time stat viewer that works off the server logs. Now boss got all mad about it saying it doesnt work becuase non of the stats match. Like on hi stats it says we got 4k visitors and on the server stat viewer we got 8k. I knew this would happen, but not to this degree. can someone help in explaining why this happens more?
