 |  Traffic without click? I noticed sometimes when using Google to search that when the search results are returned a site listed(almost always the top listed) attempts to set a cookie. So does that mean that being on the Google list creates traffic even when the person searching hasn't yet clicked your site? If this is the case(and I'm not sure it is) then webstats figures don't reflect visitors from Google, but would include times when you are listed in a Google search results. Can someone verify if the above it true or not?

| Re: Traffic without click? Yes like the others said this is not considered to be traffic . When they click on your site link and visit your site then it is only traffic .This will happen more likely if you rank high in SERPs  |

| Re: Traffic without click? Some browsers (like Opera and Firefox) download sites into their cache before you click on their links so they will load faster into your browser WHEN you click on them. They probably create cookies at the same time.
