Used spider view on one of my sites returned garbled results, like this: õk¢ŽwϽðtw�Ç?ö‡¿¾{ ±ix÷Óùå›>x{aðþ°Ãøåõð‡kØ÷Û0t,Ó™±$^¾õÀ‹�É_Á | >÷燾tÓ`xܯ}Ú\Þî™Ún?2‘×{Ô±oÒ$ÓÝ6ûn·¥å,‹&ὡ xh¤zÀy¡‘sxwœ%ðrfxpt�7

I'm presuming it could be a mod_rewrite problem, tried it on another of my sites with the same rewrite rules and that site had no problems.

Concerned that if this is what the search spiders are seeing then I have a problem. Any suggestions why this is happening would be welcomed.

Site is hosted on a VPS running CentOS 5, PHP 5.1, MySQL 5.0

Figured it out to do with output being compressed
turned it off now it works fine.
