Question Stupid PHP error *SOLVED*

***** SOLVED... SOOOO STUPID *****

This is really simple but SO stupid...

Why won't this work:

PHP Code:
$valid "maybe";

if (
strpos($src"Failed validation") > 0)
{

$valid "no";
}
if (
strpos($src"Passed Validation") > 0)
{

$valid "yes";
  if (
strpos($src"tentatively") > 0)
  {

$valid "ten";
  }

It always returns "no" for valid, no matter what. It should be returning "yes" sometimes and "ten" others... but it always returns "no".

Any reasons why?

Thanks,
-Matt

Oh. Yeah, that might help. I doubt you'll ever have a similar problem unless you're writing an XHTML validator, but I just made "Validation" in line 7 of the above snippet capital; it's lower-case.
