| Member | Is there anyone else who want to add their opinion about my concern of freeing those popuplar domains? Any suggestions to ICANN? |

| Member | I still believe that there will be something that can sort out such a serious problem of unavailability of top level domains. Can't we directly approach ICANN with some suggestions? Please, advice and add your views. Thanks. ![]() |

![]() | I think it's more constructive to think about a slightly different domain name rather than changing www to ww or w. Sometimes really good domains expire and you can get one of these. |

| Member | @ jethrotul I know that sometimes good domains expire and we can get them but its always hard to get them unless we keep an eye on them all the time. Sometimes it also happens that for example: what if i want www.abc.com and a person renews before it expires for next 10 years!!! and these days people have almost blocked all those relative URLs as well. Very annoying. We must do something to free up those popular domain names! |

![]() | How about changing www to yyy or zzz |
| | |
| | #24 |
| Member | Yes, a good option. Why not to something else rather just "www"! we can have aaa.yahoo.com, bbb.yahoo.com, www.yahoo.com, xxx.yahoo.com, zzz.yahoo.com - IMAGINE - all those domains which are on "www" will be free for next 25 times! (26 alphabets and i am taking out "www" from that so its 25) Human made a machine, not a vice versa. If we (human) made a rule of "www" then we can of course create a new setup to use other 25 alphabets as well. A very good suggestion. |

![]() | It is difficult to find any single word domain name available some of them are already taken and some of them are expired. Marketing or business through internet is very popular now and handle it easily worldwide. |

![]() | Most 99% of dictionary words are registered, you can try passive, and pass tense words. |

| Member | Yeh thanks for suggestions but what my point is ---- if suppose, i want "graphic.com" - is already registered and so as to satisfy my desire instaed of www. graphic.com, cant we have wwww. graphic.com or ww. graphic.com ? that way we can release ALL "www" domains --- ALL, ALL , ALL domains will be freed to take them all again... |

![]() | it is because there are good and have all ready been taken but you might get lucky and find one that has expired. |

| Member | yeh but what i am trying to explain - just like prefix "www", cant we have "ww" or "w" or "wwww" so that all those popular domains will be free for everyone again. |
