Google traffic going waaaaaaay down

It may be just a blip, I'm experiencing the reverse, traffic from G up. If there is due to a G update happening, hopefully you'll have more traffic soon

I've probably lost two thirds of the google traffic. Same thing happened over a year ago. the traffic came back after 3-4 months.

Same day I posted first post in this thread my site got a personal visit from someone at google. Perhaps he had read the post. I'm sure they monitor forums like this one.

Ive also lost about 1/2 my traffic to a site that usually does ok. hopefully it is a glitch. no backlink change, no pr change.

Well if your site p.r drops then may be your clicks are decreasing , keep on updating the site regularly...

I need help. My google PR has not changed, yet my sites have completely disappeared from any Google search results. I have checked my sitemaps for errors, checked every item on Google Webmaster Tools. All the diagnostics check out well, no errors, the sites are being crawled regularly. I had several search terms where I historically have been on the first page of search results, now I have literally no results.

If Google had banned my sites for some reason, wouldn't I see that in the Google Webmaster Diagnostics?

There are always ups and downs with natural listings, dont stop working on Backlinks and SEO

This is more than a down, this is a disapear. The site doesn't show up anywhere under any search term.

If it's my site you're talking about, the visits are returning to normal these days. I get almost no visits to my main page.

People usually only find my mainpage searching for 'virtual mall' or 'ebooks'. With search on ebooks my site sometimes gets listed between 50-70 on google. 99% of my traffic goes to my subpages and these are starting to get "normal" visits again.

Well, even through traffic is down for me, ranking in SERPS is as high as it ever was.

I think some of our traffic drop is due to the current market situation, but it is still strange.

One of my website lost its ranking in some targeted keywords and traffic decreases suddenly. Something is going on with the search engine results as well as website's inlinks.
