Question Paying for Backlinks - Smart Traffic ?

Does anyone have any experience of paying for backlinks ?

I use a company called Smart Traffic who charge me £10 a link and claim that the links are targeted towards art (I sell canvas art on my website). However it is clear that a lot of the links are being put on totally unrelated sites such as ringtones etc

I have been using them for a while now and although I appear to be getting more hits (and sales) I can't decide if that's just a natural process or if it's as a result of the 20 links a month I am paying for.

Am I wasting my money here or is this a service that I am paying for that is just saving me the time of doing it myself ?

If they are providing ethical services to increase your website backlinks. Then, there is no harm to use the service.

Robboweb, is this service provide you any kind of report? This may prove you if the links are related to your site. If you don't trust in them you may want too try a new link builder service out

Check the back links reported by google. See where they are placing your links. Also ask for a report and verify each one of them.

I think it is good to pay for backlinks that are relevant to your site category, otherwise Google will punish you. Is that right?

I think if they have lots of links to unrelated links, I wouldn't buy it.
But in anycase, if you are getting sales thats good news. Are you doing any other link building process besides that link you brought?, If not, then it is doing good job.

regards

If the company is doing this with white hat techniques, means they are not using any unethical SEO things for providing links, then there is no issue to pay for these links.
