Default Definition of Web 2.0

What's your definition of web 2.0? I saw a site earlier today that claimed to check that a site was web 2.0, "We'll check if it has round corners", sorry guys round corners does not make web 2.0.

Who ever define web 2.0 in that fashion I can imagine they are living in 18th Century.

Anyway, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6gmP4nk0EOE vidoe might help you in understading the beauty of web 2.0

Cheers!

I give my thoughts on the term "Web 2.0" at http://forum.triphp.com/showthread.php?t=1828

Scroll down to posts 6 and 7, it's very interesting.

Good posts jump, as soon as web 2.0 was named, it was obsolete. I've alread been reading articles about perceptions of web 3.0 and web 4.0. As far as I care it's the web, whether it's 1.0, 2.0, ir whatever, it the web and ever evolving.

the whole concept of web 2.0 is confusing as everyone keeps telling me differant things about it. the only thig i had solid on was that you could intergrate webfeatures from other sites like google maps etc..

OMG - An ancient post resurrected. If I can summarise Web 2.0 as an integration of a number of elements to enhance the user experience and interaction
