I'll just mention a few flaws.

It looks very disorganized. The navigation, header, and content aren't seperate. I wasn't sure if the top nav was navigation till i was the hand over it with my mouse.

The header is a little difficult to read. And it just seems like you care about the ad clicks more then the content of the site itself because of the placement, thats a turnoff.

Lastly, a good font for reading on the net is verdana or arial.

I visited:

Content/Originality

Quote:
You said in your title review my colorful website

Your web site is not colorful.... very plain and bland..The font in your title is fuzzy and hard to read. My opinion You need a banner or header with different font. You have your "Home page" link at the bottom navigation. very difficult to navigate. You have over lapping text and elements overlapping all through the web site. ( I see this in FF browser) Lame ad's all over the place with links to other web sites.

Graphics

You Need alt text on your graphics. Again, over lap through out.

Navigation

Very difficult to navigate. I would also suggest some secondary navigation at the bottom.

Compatibility

Your web site is not browser compatible. Especially in FF. I didn't check in other browsers. Your navigation links jumps up-down- sideways. I would at least center the site. You have spaces in your sentences etc..

Loadtime

No issues.

Final Comments:

Your web site needs considerable work. Lots of issues. JMHO..very poorly designed.

I like the menu on the left and the header also seems ok. The way the products have been presented looks disorganized and is somehow not appealing. Also too many ads.

Very little point of putting a lot of text here, I'd just be repeating the previous posts. The content is ok, if perhaps a little on the long side (lost interest before reaching the end) but the issues above are valid.

The only thing I can add of value to what has already been stated is that there are serious problems in Firefox. I didn't even bother looking in IE or any other browser because there are clearly malformatted and/or improperly styled elements going on there.

Otherwise, while the site is not particularly exciting, I have seen in my travels plenty of sites that will never have (i.e. niche sites/services that cannot have) a massive mainstream following, and often times a non-professional design actually adds to the charm and "reality" of the site. For me sites like yours are the same reason why I prefer going to a "local" store instead of a "box-chain" store. I don't expect polished professionally designed signage at a mom and pop shop. So if you are offering the equivalent of a "grassroots/mom and pop deal, then I say don't worry about the "design"; only concern yourself with the content. I didn't find the site difficult to navigate at all. However, that does not mean that it is ideal either. All content should be well written and well thought out. When it is often times organizing the overall website is simplified and can become much stronger as a result. And as your content improves and grows, it will "tell" you how it should be best structured. All content can be improved for any site. It is the never ending struggle.

Anyway, I wish you the best of luck. I do think your site is colorful and has useful information. I would rather see a slightly less well organized site and funky design of passion than weak content and a "slick" design any day of the week.

You need more colors for the web like mit said, hire any web designer or just experiment using color for head, sidebar and/or foot section...

Most are minerals: natural, inorganic materials with a fixed chemical composition and regular internal structure. A few gemstones

like Amber and Pearl come from plants and animals and are called organics.\

Those two are overlapping and look horrible. You must fix this immediately. JMO

Interesting site with nice colorful pictures. You do have quite a lot of google ads and your last horizontal ad near the bottom isn't coded properly and overlaps. Looks like a good niche I haven't seen too many other sites like this before, good luck!

Provably too much text, but less color!

Nice images of stones but looks missing something.

That's funny about the ads. While it doesn't fix the Firefox spacing issues that are fairly severe, it does explain the crazy blank spaces I was seeing as spacing issues (forgot to turn off my adblocker before reviewing

I would definitely get rid of the horizontal google ad bar. Unless of course this site is really just intended to attract ad clicks.
