Html pages with TEXT get quick RANK & PR??

Hi,

I want to create new web with flash intro. but I have read that html pages with TEXT get quick RANK & PR from Google. If its correct so what should I do for Flash site ??

Plz suggest me !

HTML sites doesnt get indexed quick or get high page ranks. But they do get higher position in search results. Search engines always look for content and people always search for keywords. If your site is filled with graphics/flash obviously search engines can not rank you high for keywords that even doesnt appear on your site!

This is the decision you have to make. if search engine traffic is important to you, you will have to limit the use of flash and have more text content.

Ya site having images and animations are not search engine friendly. So better if you plan for website with few images and text. It will very beneficial for you. It is also true static pages have good chance for better placement.

hi,
you can use the flash intro page and no negative effect will be there on the ranking. Just go ahead with your new website. use one more index page in addition to intro page where your visitors should be directed after skipping the intro.

Using HTML is more search engine friendly with better prospect for better SERPs. If you use flash you should;
1 Make sure that there is alternative text (the same idea as images).
2 Have a text alternative

Flash is just to make your site look pretty. Stick to good ol html for the serps.
