I'm going to split this thread... and I'll rate these sites in a moment. We're getting off-topic.

Okay, done. Now... letsee...

First you need to know that professionalism does not usually come naturally. It's a learning process that can take several years... whole university classes are set up for it. The best way to to learn to be professional is to learn from expierence. I learned it mostly by making something, then a few months (or years) later, looking back and thinking, I really WROTE that?? I'd feel inferior because what I wrote seemed like it came from a child. I also looked at professional sites such as www.veevix.com and www.yahoo.com to get ideas on what I wanted.

There's professionalism in written form, visual form, physical form, and verbal form. Physical & Verbal form usually are only necessary in meetings or phone/video conferences. Written and visual form, though, are frequently used online.

For more info, read my article: ____________________________ (coming soon)

TAISOFT: Your site - if I had never seen it before - does seem to contradict itself and doesn't look very professional. First, the :: in the title bar gives it away that a kid probably made it. Also, poor english grammar and spelling hurts its rating; try to use shorter, less complex sentences.

Your domain is a .org but you are Taisoft Corporation. That doesn't fit. Also, try not to talk or brag about your site's security. For example:

Bad idea. Some things just come w/ age.

Daniel J. Malone: First, very nice name you have. It's elegant. A lot more than mine Anyway, I was impressed with your site! A fourteen year old made that; not bad... is it a template or did you design it?

I like the fingernail thing in the corner. However, looking at your source code, you might want to put the copyright back in that javascript you got from Dynamic Drive.

Overall, I like it. The columns and the justified alignment is good. It's written well, also, and your copyright/privacy policy looks good.

One thing I noticed is that it's your personal site. On your contact page you use the term "we". Who's "we"? Keep it personal, man! B)

Let me know if you have any more questions and I can offer more advice if need be.
