If you are getting traffic I wouldn't worry about PageRank. Most people don't know about Google's little green bar

what? ....PR tool is just only an indication of how quality of your site is..but sometimes PR is worthless the fact that there were some sites having high PR and yet their content looks trashy....

PR is purely based on quality backlinks of your site....

Read the Google Technology about PR...It explains there well....

I think traffic is what most of them out there are looking for. PR comes naturally .Focus on getting traffic and you PR will increase on the way

If you want fast and easy increase in your page rank, than you need to buy links from some reputed websites or directories. If you can't afford, you can list your website in free webdirectories, but ususally they don't have less page rank.

Get many backlink you can ask or buy for. Submit to search engines, directories, write articles , publish press relese, participate in socil networking sites etc, etc

try to have many backlinks as possible, begin with directory submission,(as many as you can) it will boost up your pr in no time,

The site I'm working with is PR 4, I was concentrating to increase it's traffic. I was more on Off page optimization.

Some sites have a fake PR...your page rank tool must be reliable..

A PR 2 isn't that bad, but a way to increase your PR dramatically is getting more backlinks to your site
