there are some seo company who pays to have traffic on their websites. For me seo is not about that, you don't pay just to have traffic. But i believe there are some company who still do this. do you think its worthy to do that?

I think it's a complete waste of money, to pay someone to visit your website who isn't interested. Paying for traffic is the stupidest thing you could spend your money on webmaster wise.

I think that all depend on quality of trafic. If you want trafic to convert into sales you have to make sure that you have quality trafic.
Ig you bought porn trafic it would not be useful on programming web site etc

A dedicated PPC campaign does work.

I only spend a very small amount with adsense, but we do see some good converstions from it.

As ServerPoint says above, if you are paying for relevant and related traffic, it is worth it to a degree, but non relevant traffic is just waste of time and money.

Why pay for traffic? If you had a shop would you pay potential customers to come in and browse? PPC and other advertising/marketing and link building campaigns are the way to go.

People offers visitors for money, they don't offer traffic.

Visitors just come to your site, spend some time and then gone, but targeted traffic are looking to buy your service.

If you have a nice product for sale, and you are facing very tough competition - then you may pay some money and try to buy traffic. But this way of advertisement is not recommended ... try SEO first for your own benefits.
