Don't make a game completely scripted with a narrow path straight to the end of the game, such as.

Bioshock(Nice Graphics)
Call of Duty

Look at Marathon: Durandal, Duke Nukem 3D, Quake 2, Deus Ex, Neverwinter Nights, 5 great games. What do they have in common? Secrets, Side Quests, The ability to move around Freely, Coop to play with your friends & Family, Who made theis great Games? Geeks.

Nice thread.. Well I would like to have a sequel on DIABLO II. If they can create another PArt of DIABLO game that would be so great! also Resident evil. The last game i played from resident evil is resident evil 4, i hope they will create another sequel on this.

try some MMO RPG games as WOW and Lineage2 and forget about all other games and you will be satisfied as those games are being improved constantly because of large audience and not only
