Default Do you just optimise for Google?

Do you just optamise for Google?

or

Do you also spend time with the other search engines?

or

Would you say the same optamisation applies to all?

I have to be honest and sorry if this sounds unprofessional, but yes, I really only concentrate on Google.

If someone tells me a neat trick that Google loves, I will always try it, but for any other engines, I doubt I would bother.

I know the smaller engines still run off keywords, so I make sure mine are strong and the other engines that run on description / content, this is already strong for Google.

So I guess I try to have an all around approach, but I do probably concentrate on Google far more.

Yes and no. It depends upon which language, English (that's the British version is optimise) and the US version is optimize. There are other differences too, eg colour vs color, centre vs center.

I still prepare pages for smaller SEs also, after the page has been prepares for Google. Some traffic does come from the smaller SEs but most SE referred traffic from Google.

80% of my traffic is from Google search so yes. It just so happens that msn and yahoo always have good results anyway so I just focus on Google now.

Optimize to all SEs. Don't focus on Google alone since this three are the foundation of all the search engines....

I optimise for all search engines I definatly concentrate more on Google but do use techniques that I know will give me a boost in other search engines.

I think having your site be at the top in all search engines has got to be better than only being at the top for Google, I know Google has 65% of the market but me personally I dont want to say I dont care about the other 35% and dont see why anybody would ignore the other 35% aswell but hey.

Actually, I optimize my sites for search engines and most of them work similar but I have to say that if your site is well optimized for Google you won't meet difficulties in other SE optimization

That is what I too feel. Yahoo and MSN anyways give only a small fraction of what google does. I guess MSN /LIve now is very close to google. If you rank well on google, you tend to do well on MSN as well.
