wow!!!and if that would be the case, could there be a possibility that yahoo can get the spot?..and since microsoft is one of the leading company in the industry so i guess the head-to-head bump competition in the search engine is possible...

Wow... I wonder how this will effect the search results on both of them.. I hope MSN will not screw up like Yahoo did on its acquisition of Allthe web and Altavista..
I personally think Alltheweb was better than Google in one point...

Yahoo has been in trouble for some time, it was only a matter of time before another player made a move, and Microsoft already tried a takeover some time ago.

Will this be need to be investigated by EU/USA monopolies?

well if this is the case what will happen to YPN ( Yahoo publisher Network) and MSn adcentre i think they will work as a merger or not

Yahoo! board of directory are unwilling to go for the offer but Microsoft is desperate to buy Yahoo!

By the time, technology experts are saying by the time these two companies integrate their services together, Google will reach out of their reach. So it will be a fruitless deal.

Anyway, Time will decide the winner
