is there a script to do this so that it shows the most recent post on my website?

or for smf?

That would consider a RSS feed wouldn't it?

Therefore I would think that you can program it for either phpBB or smf. Providing that you own the forum so as to be able to edit the script.

But I have to say that I have never seen any phpbb 0r smf forums with RSS feeds, only Vbulletin

You will have to pull the latest post out of the database..
You can pull

the date, time, user, cat

I cant do this for you for 20 bucks
Im familiar with the phpbb and smf database structure and code
