iWebTool has decided to stop allowing members of the forum to post their directories in this section of the site. From now on, if you would like to advertise your directory, you will need to put a request in by replying to this thread. Your directory will appear in the iWebTool Directory List.

Free Directories:

Once your request has been approved or disapproved, your request in this thread will be deleted. We won't tell you if it has been approved or not, that's up to you to find out. Please don't constantly bombard us with the same request, if we don't feel your directory is right, it's likely for one of the following reasons:

1. Request for inclusion in the free directory list, but your directory isn't free.
2. You don't maintain your directory, or your directory has too much spam.
3. Your directory is a copy of another directory, like ODB or Yahoo Directory.
4. Your directory promotes or offers illegal materials, such as warez or pirated media.
5. Your directory requires a reciprocal link. We cannot offer a link until your directory has been validated.

If we don't include your directory, then you are welcome to try again once you have fixed the obvious errors in your directory.

When requesting a listing, please include the URL of your directory, it's cost structure (Free or Pay for inclusion), and estimated time it takes for you to review directory submissions.

On occassion, we will be submitting random sites to your directory to see the turn around time on free inclusions. An average shouldn't be more than 14 to 30 days. When we do this, if the turn around time is within 30 days, we will review your directory in the directory list. If it takes more than 30 days, we will remove your directory from the list. This is just to save valuable time for webmasters and business owners when submitting to a directory. If there isn't much chance in them being listed in your directory, then we'd rather not refer them to your directory.

Paid directories:

If your directory is pay for inclusion only, then you will want to let us know that your directory is a paid directory. If you offer any type of free inclusion, then please list your directory as free. Paid directories will not be listed in the iWebTool directory for free.

The cost for listing your directory in this list will be exactly equal to the cost of inclusion in your directory. Keep your paypal accounts to your self, I don't want your money. But, I can't very well review your directory unless I have submitted a site to it. So, I will be wanting a coupon code or a free inclusion in the directory so that I can properly review your directory. Once your site has been reviewed and listed, you are welcome to remove my submitted listing.

Reciprocal directories
If you have a reciprocal link directory, I would like to suggest in order to make it easier on me, place a link in the SEO or webmaster forum category of your directory like this:

Niche directories
If your's is a niche directory, then I'll do my best to come up with an appropriate site for your directory. If not, I will try my best to judge if your directory is a decent one.

If anyone want's link juice to be passed to your site, I would suggest that you link directly to http://talk.iwebtool.com/faq.php?faq=directory, because as it stands, there are 0 links to that page, and I cannot link to it without a nofollow from within the forums.
