Wow i think that is the worst idea anyone could have for a site that stores sensitive information

Information like that should be stored within a database and not a text file or within html code

Niguel, what is your real intention? Are you looking for a shopping cart script?

i have the cart from paypal but not too sure how it works would like to get a page where people can log in and save information like their name, address and other information then later on as i learn more incorporate that into a wishlist of items that the customer would like to buy and generate a wishlist page that they can give friends

1 possible way is to ask the customers to fill a signup form developed with any serverside scripting like php, asp, jsp and then redirect them to paypal payment.

Those who are already a member, they just can enter and login name and password and go for payment.

before that check if paypal has similar kind of service.
