Directory Owners Forum at http://www.directory-owners.com/ appeared to not like 99% of directory owners. The site now has this message on it to most members that have directories. Notice reads

We are not ignorant, we are not all crooks and we don't really care what our page rank is, nor who has the better script. Even though I have a PR of 10, my scrip IS the best on the planet and I urge you to buy some advertisements on it. Wait... Did I say that

You know, I've having some serious problems with Bellsouth right now, maybe I oughta make website called Bellsouthsucks.com. A guy had a website going called geicosucks.com and GEICO purchased it for $400,000. (I used to work for GEICO)

He had been trying to sell the directory, it has changed hands at least twice in the last few years. He apparently didn't get any offers.

"he couldn't get an offer so he went away mad"........And I actually looked at buying it.

Yeah, I remember when he bought that forum....It was actually a pretty successful forum 6 or 8 months ago....But the last I had checked, my IP was banned, so I never had the opportunity to explore it after the new owner took over. Now it just redirects to Google....Nice hint. What a shame, he must have been screwed over pretty good by the members there.
