Hey everybody, I'm up to the 10 post count on this site... time to display my new forum. Trust me everybody, you'll have loads of fun at my new site I've created... it's awesome, yet undeveloped. I promise you that I will present the people that contribute to the site the most (you know, by creating the most new threads for their respective forum genres and giving the most ideas) the promotion of being a moderator for their chosen forum. Payne, you should have at least taken the opportunity to include a http in front of your link to make it active. Also, it would have been nice if you would have included a little more information about your site:

It's title, description and it's genre would be a start.

If you are really serious about your forum..than please leave free hosting and free subdomain name.invest few bucks..and you will have more friendly SEO for your website.

The title is the name of this thread, but here's a description: my express intention in creating this website is to get a bunch of people in one place to chat around (like any typical forum). But, here's the catch... this forum isn't just based off of ordinary forum topics... while it does have those topics you'd find in any usual forum, it does have off-the-wall topics many of you may find in interest. I'd really appreciate it if either of you came to my site, signed up (absolutely free and worth it) and helped me evolve my site. Oh yes, and it's genre would probably be classified as miscellaneous. Hi James, I can see you forum now - well done for getting it up and running.

A couple of comments...

You need a logo! Search this forum for 'free logo maker', I think someone posted one a few days ago. A bit basic, but better than nothing.

It seems strange that you've put your poem & favorite bands in teh topic description rather than the first post within the topic - maybe you wer ejust experimenting?

Forums tend to do better when they have a focus, rather than just being 'general stuff'. However, if it's really just for your mates to chat in then it's fine to have it a bit random.

I will answer all of those questions if you just sign up for my forum and contribute at least a miniscule amount to my site. I will answer one of those questions though... yes, this is my first website. That being said, I want it to be a successful one as well, and if you're the first to help me out with it, maybe I'll make a list of "the most revered members of my site", who knows?

Try something else for promotion, like win a free hosting for 1 year or domain registration.

Even you can offer a graphics card or 100 dvd .... this kind of stuff will help u a lot.

I think you overexaggerated a little there mars. Haha. I don't want to be famous as an internet phenomenon, I want to be a writer. But yeah, I at least upgraded my forum to being decent. At least give it a shot guys... it'll be a lot of fun once you get to know me, that's something you can guarantee.
