How to get Article Submissions?

I was curious if anyone had an easy way to get folks to post articles to your site. Is there a website out there that I can advertise to and get folks coming over to give up their articles?

I know about websites such as articlecity and other "free content" websites but I want "real" people submitting unique articles to my sites. Any good placed out there to target?

I was afraid this post was going to get misunderstood. My question was: " How do I get people to come to MY site and post their articles?" I don't want to submit articles, I'm just wanting folks to post their articles on my website. Thanks for the responses.

I think its a case of WIIFM (what's in it for me?)

You want real people to spend theit time writing artilces? People need an incentive to write for you... usually either direct publicity (you direct people to their website or cause), or backlinks for PR and SERP building. So - WIIFM?

But isn't that generally what the articles are written for. They give good information, the viewer is intrigued and then clicks their link at the bottom of the article? So it is a WIN/WIN situation IMHO.

Cryxellis I notice that all those sites have page ranks of 1 and Alexa rankings of around 300 000 and higher. How was using these sites beneficial to you? Could you still get traffic and backlinks that helped your SERP?

There are a few services that distribute articles to directories that you can sign up with. This is good to get articles flowing in every day. The good ones are www.isnare.com www.articlemarketer.com www.uniquearticlewizard.com

You can also send messages to authors and bloggers asking them if they would consider writing and submitting to your directory.

I would advice you to advertise your site in popular directories and directory of directories.
