What advantages can be exracted beyond one way links?

Do you think that submitting to 100 directories is safe? 300? 500? 1000?

I guess my question is: Can a lot of links (from articles) damage the ranks?

I mean some article directories do post articles almost instantly, so the submitter, instantly gets backlinks, and a big amount of them... (over 100 in 24 hr if submitted to 500 directories), - is that something that can actually damage the SERPS?

Well it can raise google red flag i guess.
It can be risky. Submitting aritcles according to niche of your site is very helpful in serps which is what i have heard. It contains your keywords, your back link etc. If things remain under control It can be very helpful.
Can you list down no. of directories which post article instantly?

I guess I could... But I dont want to!

Cause I am still not convinced that "submitting articles" does work in the long term...

You see I submitted an article, and the result (the URL) fly up in SERPS.
I submitted another one and my listing - GONE!!

And that is true for around 50 of my URLs...

So ... I guess you dont want my list now?

Anyway, Is there a way to check the "red flag" issue? I mean if I got it or not?

And what else can I check, and what steps should I take?

i think article writing is good thing to have increases page rank and traffic at the same time.

Hi there

I have never heard of anyone getting penlised for submitting too many articles, so i think thats not somthing you need to worry about.

The problem with articles is that when it first started it was a good way to promote ur site, unfortunatly every spam site out there does it now, so this has more or less rendered the article idea more or less useless.

For your article to be seen it would have to be V V good !

Have just submitted our 1st article and am waiting for it to go live,when the initial feedback kicks in and we see if it has a effect on visiting numbers my wife who is a expert at that type of thing we hope to submit articales for all of our sites.
Some help required please,do you just right one articale about one site or can you do more than one say a articale on each section of your site ???

PS: Out of every 500 submissions I am accepted to around 250 to 300 directories with the corresponding article.

Yes you can submit an article for every page of your site if you want.

Not really sure what happened with your articles drum, but you have proved a point that article marketing doesnt really work, i too tryed it did some articles, once i submitted them they were quite high in serps, after a small amount of time they disapeared, i got 0 backlinks from them !

Lesson learnt wont be doing it again !
