Your sentence structure needs just a little work. There seems to be an occasional missing preposition, conjunction, or improper (plural) suffix. Although they are only minor things, they tend to detract from the general flow.

You should start a new paragraph anytime your focus changes. The last sentence in each paragraph should offer a feeling of completion. I found one paragraph that seemed to do the opposite. The first sentence made a finishing point for the previous paragraph.

Some of your sentences are very long. Shorter ones are easier to mentally process. They also allow for a smoother flow.

I am no expert at writing. In fact I failed English and grammar back in school. I only apply my common sense and observe how I feel while I read. If I am stumbling over poor grammar and spelling I may abandon focus.

Overall you are on the right track. Compared to the writing skills of average citizens your problems are trivial. But learn to proof read your own work. Proof reading slower works for me. Do not allow your writing to draw the reader away from the story.
