different engine = different algorithm = different practice of SEO or methods to use!!!

I suggest you to do link building using your target keyword as your anchor,.
Continue gaining quality backlinks

just be careful in optimizing your site. because all of these advice would be useless if you will caught and penalized for violating SEO rules. just avoid things that can harm your site like link farm,duplicate content and keyword stuffing.

Google, Yahoo and MSN are three most popular search engines. The algorithm used by these search engines are different. But these points are common in algorithm :

a) Unique or fresh content
b) Regular updation in website
c) Keyword density (3-8%) density.
d) Use of target keyword in title, meta description, heading and in the content
e) Good internal link structure.

For MSN, fresh content and proper use of HTML tags are important. For google and yahoo must concentrate on fresh content and theme based links.

Google, Yahoo and MSN are using different algorithm to rank a website. But the most common techniques are :

* Theme based backlinks.
* Keyword Density (3-8%), yahoo prefer more keyword density
* Unique Content on the page
* Frequently updation of the pages (Add article page somewhere in the website and post atleast 3-4 articles on your website)
* You should be excellent in HTML coding (in the case of MSN)

Keep these points in mind, you will get traffic from these 3 major search engines.
